DSLR Workshop – 2nd August 2013
We had a great day today on the DSLR workshop at Pugneys Country Park. The weather was a little mixed at first, but this added some great skies to some of the shots and we only had to run for the sanctuary of the café on one occasion to avoid a drenching! However for most of the day it was sun, sun, sun and there was loads of activity all over the park, the lake was busy, picnics were aplenty and nature was in full bloom! The park provides such a variety of subjects to photograph meaning there is always something interesting for everyone.
It is always good fun to be working on a landscape composition one minute and a macro the next interspersed with some action shots! It was an experienced group today so we were able to move on to spend some quality time working on some more creative effects and settings and everyone went home having had loads of practice in new skills and memory cards full of images! Practice makes perfect and even I went home with over 250 shots!
Many thanks to all the group – a good group can make a session really enjoyable.
