If you want to take control of your camera then this is the course for you, starting with the basics and working through to more advanced subjects this course covers:

  • Why you shouldn’t be using ‘Auto’ mode and how to take control of your camera.
  • How to use scene modes, Aperture and Shutter Priority and exposure compensation in order to make the most of the available light.
  • How to see a good picture – and then capture it or how to create a good picture from whatever is around you.

All levels of experience are catered for and each course will be specifically tailored to your photographic needs and learning styles.

All of this is covered by practical exercises and personal tuition in a 5 hours stroll around Leeds City Centre.

All of our courses include a personal workbook for each student to use during the event and to retain for reference after the event and 30 days of distance learning support following the event.

Please specify when booking if you will be using an SLR, a Compact System Camera (CSC) or a compact camera.
